Two Seminarians Become Ouraragirs

On August 6, Abp. Hovnan Derderian, Primate of the Western Diocese and vice president of the board of directors, elevated four altar servers to the rank of stolebearer (ouraragir) at the St. Leon (Ghevontiants) Armenian Cathedral in Burbank, CA, including two current St. Nersess seminarians who are CA natives – Arin Parsanian and Zareh Mirzayan. After introducing the altar servers to the parishioners, Archbishop Hovnan encouraged them to remain steadfast in their service to Christ, our Lord and be loyal to the sacred traditions of the Armenian Apostolic Church.   All seminary students will be returning to campus for the fall semester the end of August.
