Spring Semester Begins
The seminarians began their Spring semester on January 11. Last week, they practiced their nushkhark making skills with Fr. Daniel Karadjian, instructor of Practical Liturgics and pastor of St. Stepanos Armenian Church, Long Branch, NJ.
On January 13, Bishop Daniel Findikyan visited the campus to celebrate the Jerusalem Armenian New Year (January 12-13) according to the Julian calendar, which is used by some Christian religious communities in Jerusalem. The Evening service in St. Hagop Chapel was preceded by the sounding of the Gochnag and singing of “Park ee Partsoons” outside. The celebration concluded with dinner in the Arsen Keleshian Dining Hall.
