Heartfelt Messages from Primates

More than fifty years after its humble beginnings, I am proud that St. Nersess Armenian Seminary has realized the dreams of its founder Archbishop Tiran Nersoyan. Today, as the seminary  begins a bold new chapter in its history, our gratitude should go to all those who have made it a living, growing institution during its first half-century—and our support should ensure that its future will be even brighter. St. Nersess Seminary is the seedbed of leadership for our church. Most importantly, St. Nersess is the institution that will give us the strength, conviction, and manpower to continue the Armenian Church’s journey into the future.

For the past 50 years, St. Nersess Armenian Theological Seminary has realized a God-pleasing mission in the life of the Armenian community of North America through the training of priests and leading the young generation closer to Christ our Savior, through Christian education. Today, it is time to expand the mission of St. Nersess with our prayers and sacrifice. Let us put our faith and trust in the mission of St. Nersess Armenian Seminary and guard it for generations to come.

Ս. Ներսէս Ընծայարանի համեստ սկզբնաւորութենէն յիսուն տարի ետք՝հպարտ եւ ուրախ եմ որ Ընծայարանի հիմնադիր՝ Տիրան Արք. Ներսոյեանի երազը իրականութեան վերածուած է։ Այսօր, եր Ընծայարանը իր պատմութեան նոր հանգրուանին կը գտնուի, մենք պարտինք մեր գնահատանքը յայտնել բոլոր անոնց՝ որոնց օժանդակութեամբ, անցնող հինգ տասնամեակներու ընթացքին, այս Ընծայարանը վերածուեցաւ կենսունակ եւ հետզհետէ յառաջդիմող հաստատութեան մը, եւ մեր շարունակական օժանդակութեամբ պարտինք ապահովել նաեւ անոր աւելի պայծառ ապագան։Ս. Ներսէս Ընծայարանը մեր եկեղեցւոյ ղեկավարներու պատրաստութեան դարբնոցն է։ Ամենէն կարեւորը, Ս. Ներսէս Ընծայարանը այն հաստատութիւնն է՝ որ մեզ կը սպառազինէ եռանդով, ապահովութեամբ եւ մարդկային ոյժով՝ անխափան կերպով շարունակելու համար Հայ Եկեղեցւոյ առաքելութիւնը։

Սբ. Ներսէս Աստուածաբանական Ընծայարանը յիսուն տարիներ շարունակ իրականացուցած է Աստուածահաճոյ առաքելութիւն Հիւսիսային Ամերիկայի տարածքին՝ հոգեւոր սպասաւորներու պատրաստութեամբ եւ պատանի սերունդներուն ջամբելով կրօնական դաստիարակութիւն։ Այսօր, Սբ. Ներսէս Աստուածաբանական Ընծայարանի առաքելութիւնը պէտք է առաւել ընդարձակուի բոլորիս աղօթքով ու ծառայութեամբ։ Հաւատանք անոր նուիրական առաքելութեան եւ տէր կանգնինք Սբ. Ներսէսին։
