Fall Intensive Week

Intensive Week is held each semester to give our students an opportunity to dive deeper into different subjects not covered in the standard curriculum.

This Fall, Dr. Julia Hintlian taught a week-long intensive course titled, “Christology of the Oriental Orthodox Churches” to the St. Nersess seminarians during the week of October 27. Students explored how Armenians understand the nature and identity of Christ, and how that understanding is shared by Christians of the Syriac, Coptic, and Ethiopic traditions. Earlier this year, Dr. Hintlian defended her PhD in the Committee on the Study of Religion at Harvard University.
