Clergy Continuing Education Program

Clergy Continuing Education Program

The Badarak: A Closer Look

The theology of the Armenian Church is encapsulated in our Badarak, an ancient Liturgy that expresses and celebrates the distinctive Christian witness of the Armenian people. This three-day program will examine the origin of the Armenian Divine Liturgy, how its structure and theology compare with the liturgies of other ancient churches, its distinctive features, its meaning for Armenian Americans today, and practical issues related to its celebration and interpretation in the parishes.

The leisurely pace of the program will allow ample opportunity for relaxation, socializing with colleagues, and prayer. Meet the seminarians, join the Seminary’s rhythm of daily worship, walk our beautiful campus grounds, enjoy home-cooked meals. Return to your parish refreshed, revitalized, and ready to serve our holy church better.
