Cathedral Avaks Visit St. Nersess Seminary

On November 6, the Avaks of St. Vartan Cathedral visited St. Nersess Armenian Seminary to learn more about its mission. They were accompanied by the Cathedral’s vicar, Fr. Davit Karamyan.

Fr. Mardiros Chevian, dean, warmly welcomed the group and shared a brief history of the institution. Following his remarks, a prayer service was held in St. Hagop Chapel, during which crosses — crafted by seminarian Dn. Armen Bandikian — were blessed and presented to each participant.

The visit continued with a luncheon and program prepared by Dn. Sargis Ginosyan in the dining hall.

At the conclusion of the visit, Fr. Davit expressed heartfelt thanks to Fr. Mardiros and the seminarians for their gracious hospitality before the group returned home. “ The seminary feels like a loving home — its warmth and hospitality stay with visitors long after they leave, drawing them back again,” shared Fr. Davit.
